So I went to NYU last tuesday (yes i skipped school...shhhh), and it had a lot of the programs that i would enjoy, but city life is so different from life around the cuse... I've always liked the excitement of the city, but i dont know if i could handle living there for 4 years. As all apartments in the city, the dorms could fit 2 beds, and thats it. All the students stuff was on the bed or on the floor of the closet because there was no place to put anything. Another thing I found slightly bizarre was a small shop on campus that i wandered into. I bought a belt that was $13 and the guy asked for $10, i asked if he was sure, and he said yes... now when i went to china this would happen a lot, bartering and such, but i didn't know that it still happened in the US. This also happened to me at a small sidewalk sale infront of Washington Park at NYU. City life is so different that what I'm used to out in b'ville or fayetteville. I don't know if I like it or not.

On the way back from NYU, my dad and I drove around the SUNY Purchase campus, but they didn't have any tours going on or anything. SUNY Purchase seems a lot more of a "country" area, and it's only 20 minutes outside of NYC. I still need to check out the programs, but it looks really nice. It's mainly an arts and sciences school, known especially for it's Theater program... WOOT! So we'll have to check it out.

I'm assuming all of you (minus Mr. Montas) will be going to college since MPH is such a college prep school, so if any of you find any interesting colleges or not so interesting, feel free to comment!
